Artificial Intelligence: What Lies Beneath

Prosper della Florida State University terrà un seminario dal titolo: Title: Artificial Intelligence: What Lies BeneathAbstract: I briefly retrace mankind's long-standing fascination with artificially intelligent (AI) agents and highlight a few recent spectacular advances in this field. I then survey a few of the machine learning algorithms that lie beneath AI, in particular, boosted decision trees, deep neural networks, and a recent method called generative adversarial nets. I conclude by commenting on the benefits and potential dangers of a world in which AI is ubiquitous and potent.
