Glasma and its evolution

L'11 Gennaio 2017 alle 16 in aula multimediale il dr. Marco Ruggieri, dell'University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing,  terra' un seminario dal titolo:  Glasma and its evolution ABSTRACT: The initial stage of nuclear collisions at relativistic energies is known as the Glasma, namely a configuration of classical gluon strings developing mainly along the flight direction of the two colliding nuclei. I describe few properties of the Glasma, emphasizing the role of gauge invariant correlators to understand the fine structure of the Glasma flux tubes and how they evolve, and that of the fluctuations to enhance the isotropization process.
