Title
Color Superconductivity: Symmetries and Effective Theories
Abstract
I review the low energy theory for 2 flavor QCD relevant for high
matter density. For the 3 flavor case I will show how to construct
the topological Wess-Zumino action needed to describe the time
honored process: neutral pion decay into two photons. I will then
show how the electroweak processes are modified at finite density.
Links to the 't Hooft global anomaly conditions are also
considered. Finally I will suggest a new way to link color
superconductivity to the physics of Compact stars (like
Supernova-relics).
