Title
Complete low energy meson-meson scattering within Unitarized one-loop
Chiral Perturbation Theory
Abstract
We have completed the meson-meson scattering
calculation within Chiral Perturbation Theory at one-loop,
for all
amplitudes involving pions, kaons and the eta.
We have generalized the dispersive approach leading
to the coupled channel version of the inverse amplitude method,
which is then used to unitarize the chiral amplitudes.
These unitary amplitudes now have the correct analytical structure in
terms of cuts and poles.
In this way we obtain a remarkably good description of meson-meson
scattering up to 1.2 GeV, generating dynamically seven
resonant states (rho, K*, sigma, f0,a0, etc...)
The use
of the complete one loop chiral amplitudes also ensures
a simultaneously correct low energy description and a direct
and successful comparison
with the renormalized chiral parameters of plain ChPT.
