Color Transparency in QCD
Abstract
A Brookhaven measurements of the energy dependence of carbon tranaparency for (p,2p) quasi-elastic scattering is presented. The new measurement, with beam energies up to 14.5 GeV and center of mass angles near 90 degrees, reaches higher energy than did previously published data. The data will be discussed along with an analysis of a complimentary processes in which "nearly" quasi-elastic events are produced with associated pion production.
