Prior
and after the thermal cycles the service boxes containing the trays will be
mounted in the stacked configuration, in order to perform the limited
functional (LPT) and cosmic rays tests (CPT). The trays in the upper and
bottom part of the rack will have the strips oriented in the same direction:
the two tray lots will have the strips orthogonal oriented.
Three
scintillator layers located on the top, middle and bottom of the rack will
provide the external acquisition trigger, by means of cosmic rays.
